Eloise Cheung is a hairstylist working at the forefront of fashion and beauty. Top fashion magazines including W and The Last Magazine as well as the international editions of GQ and Vogue regularly book Eloise for cover stories and fashion shoots.
Eloise works with actors, fashion professionals and private clients for magazine shoots, promotional appearances and red carpet events. These have included Adrien Brody, James and Julia Corden, Erin and Sara Foster, Delphine Krakoff, Lindsay Lohan, Stella McCartney, Alexander Skarsgård as well as Martin Scorsese and his producer, Emma Tillinger Koskoff. She is frequently called upon by the world’s best hairstylists such as Sam McKnight, Didier Malige and Yannick D’Is to assist on blockbuster fashion shows staged by brands like Chanel and Tom Ford. Eloise’s work for haircare brands is extensive. Collaborating with T3 hairdryers, she has conducted editorial desk-side visits, product demonstrations and conceived a limited edition ‘Eloise Cheung’ blow-dryer for Bloomingdales and also appearing in promotional videos for them. She has styled TV commercials for Herbal Essences, Pantene as well as Head & Shoulders and print ad campaigns for Aussie, Bio Ionic, Con Air and Hairfinity. Eloise’s exceptional technical skill is a result of her superlative training. She began her career in 1996 at John Frieda’s Mayfair, London salon where she worked with figures in the worlds of film, fashion, art, architecture and music with John Frieda's "House of Experts." This group of stylists and colorists help to maintain quality formulas, consumer accessibility and create styling tips, trend forecasting and product recommendations. All the while, Eloise enhanced her technical skills assisting the fashion industry’s most sought-after hairstylists including Guido Palau, Eugene Soulieman and Sam McKnight. After working consistently with private clients such as Claudia Schiffer, Princess Charlene of Monaco and Queen Rania of Jordan, Eloise moved to New York to expand and continue her freelance career. |
